Overcoming Cancer as a Family

At 17 months, Avalon was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Following the diagnosis, Avalon endured 2 ½ years of chemotherapy. Today Avalon is cancer free; however, she suffers from Intracranial Hypertension, which is fluid around her brain caused by years of chemotherapy. Avalon has since undergone numerous surgeries to try to remove the fluid pressure in her brain.
