Meet Jadyn – Central Ohio

Meet Jadyn, a hardworking 17-year-old, who has never let her diagnosis of Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) slow her down. At age 12, Jadyn was diagnosed with CML and has since persevered through many of life’s challenges. She is on track to graduate this school year with a high school diploma as well as an Associates Degree.

Jadyn and her family joined A Kid Again in 2016 and have enjoyed many Adventures together. Their favorite is the Kings Island Adventure each year. Jadyn’s mom says that she loves going to Kings Island with A Kid Again because “it is a time when she can feel normal like any other kid and just have a good time”! The family always spends the day in the park and then stops by Sweet Spot for some fudge to take home!

Jadyn’s perseverance through her 5-year journey with cancer has been remarkable. Her hardworking attitude is admired by many, but especially by her mom who says “she really is my inspiration”!
