Young Boy Battles Short Arm 6th Chromosome

Before Aaron was born, the doctors informed his mother that something wasn’t quite right. As a newborn, Aaron underwent open heart surgery to fix the hole in his heart caused by a genetic condition – Short Arm 6th Chromosome.

“A Kid Again has bonded us as a family.”

During surgery he coded, but the doctors were able to revive him. Aaron suffers from numerous effects caused by his genetic disorder including scoliosis, which is so severe that he has to have surgery every 6 months.
