Join The FAM!

Members of The FAM (Family Ambassador Members) will represent A Kid Again in public settings and help promote our mission to foster hope, happiness, and healing for families raising children with life-threatening conditions. In addition to helping make a difference for A Kid Again, being part of The FAM is fun too!

Applications for the 2024 class are now closed.  Applications for the 2025 class will open in October 2024.  

The FAM Responsibilities 

  • Provide support for A Kid Again marketing efforts. Efforts may include (but not limited to): public speaking and presentations to schools, hospitals, companies, and/or organizations; radio and TV campaigns; use of photos and written statement for local and national efforts, helping to spread the word to potential families that are eligible to enroll with A Kid Again
  • Assist with stewardship opportunities for Adventure Guides (our fancy name for volunteers) and donors, which may include thank you notes and special gifts of appreciation
  • Actively participate in Adventures hosted by your chapter
  • Opportunity to participate and promote a Do It Yourself (DIY)Fundraising option (ex. Students Creating Smiles, Restaurant Dine & Donate)
  • Commit to participating as a member of The FAM for a minimum of one year (January – December)

  • A Kid Again swag including an exclusive The FAM t-shirt for each member of the family to wear to Adventures
