Margaret Rooke Author Opportunity

Chapter News

We recently connected with British author, Margaret Rooke, regarding her lastest project. She is hoping some of you would be willing to assist her with her upcoming book.

Please see note below from her:

I’m writing a book of interviews with children and young teenagers aged 8-14 who sometimes feel different from the others in their class at school. I’m hoping to include children with medical issues and their brothers and sisters, a child or teen who’s lost a parent or sibling, and children with other different experiences. The aim of the book is for young people to feel heard and understood, and to increase empathy and understanding for anyone who feels different from their classmates.

Anyone taking part will be interviewed on Zoom or phone. They won’t have to answer anything they don’t want to, they can check what I write, and their words will be included in a book being published by Hachette and distributed worldwide.
