A Kid Again Michigan is a children’s charity in Michigan. We are honored to serve families who are raising children living with life-threatening conditions in Michigan. We do so by providing cost-free, fun-filled destination events throughout the year that we call Adventures. We are grateful for the support of the Michigan community and our valued partners who make it possible for us to provide comprehensive, practical support to help families cope with the extended effects of life-threatening conditions.
Rashes sometimes signify an allergy and can be a part of everyday life, but for the Kaczur family from Canton, Michigan their daughter Lena’s rash was a sign of blood cancer.
“Cancer is a complicated situation and your focus is on the kiddo. There were breaks between going to the hospital and such but it’s about being there for your kids. A Kid Again is about being there and supporting any way they can and gives us hope from day to day,” said Billy, Lena’s dad.
