Part-Time Event Marketing & Promotion Assistant

A Kid Again, Southwest Chapter, is looking for a part-time, energetic, out-going, self motivated person to help with our fall fundraiser, All Out, on October 13, 2017 at The Cincinnati Club. This person will identify, procure and package unique and exciting silent and live auction items, promote the event, generate attendance, and assist with other event-related initiatives.

This assertive go-getter will report to the Executive Director. Event and nonprofit experience a plus but not mandatory. Candidates must have strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, and initiative. It is an ideal position for the person who wants to utilize their creativity, sales, organizational and event-planning skills in the nonprofit sector. Computer skills (Word, Excel, data base experience) required.

To start, this will be a 20 hour per week position. This is a temporary position, but could lead to additional project work, and/or grow into a permanent position for the right person.

A Kid Again improves the lives of families with children battling life-threatening illnesses through Adventures: regular time outs from illness for the entire family at multiple group outings each year to fun local venues including the Cincinnati Reds, Kings Island, Cincinnati Zoo, Holiday Party at Matthew 25: Ministries, Newport Aquarium, and Scene 75 Arcade. Because life-threatening, childhood illness outlasts any one day or Adventure, the entire family is invited to participate all throughout childhood. We welcome all life-threatening illnesses.
