Office Manager

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Office Manager is a key member of our team working to ensure the long-term sustainability of the Central Ohio Chapter of A Kid Again. This full-time position reports to the Chapter Executive Director and is responsible for ongoing administrative support. This position offers the opportunity to become deeply engaged with the fundamental strategic processes and implementation of fund and program development for this rapidly growing chapter of A Kid Again.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Oversee general office operation, including greeting visitors, answering incoming phone calls, and providing a high caliber level of customer service.
  • Manage an accurate family & donor database, including updating records, inputting philanthropic gifts, and preparing donor and financial reports as requested
  • Assist with the preparation of appeals, mailings, newsletters, and acknowledgements.
  • Serve as grant administrator for philanthropic gifts by providing timely reports, impact pieces, and stewardship to donor base.
  • Support team by procuring quality silent/live auction items, developing fundraising sites, securing program materials, and support prospect research for fundraising.

 

BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE:

  • Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (nonprofit preferred)
  • Experience of 1-3 years with a preference to office and/or non-profit fundraising support
  • Requires good communication, relationship building and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with experience working in Raiser’s Edge/Blackbaud (or other donor database), Microsoft Office, and other programs such as Classy, MailChimp, and WordPress preferred. Adobe and/or Canva experience a plus.

SALARY RANGE: $35,000 – $40,000
