New Markets Coordinator



New Markets Coordinator will work with the Director of Family Engagement – New Markets to research, cultivate and maintain new expansion states that do not have a paid staff member in the market.  This person will help with the identification, cultivation, growth and maintenance of family enrollment and volunteers. The coordinator will also help with planning/execution of AIAB – Adventures In A Box, virtual Adventures and some mini-adventures in these new markets.  



Responsibilities include:  

  • Identify, cultivate and maintain relationships with hospitals, organizations and other providers that can help us promote A Kid Again to families. 
  • Administrative duties – Maintain database and welcome new families.
  • Complete state and charitable filing for A Kid Again, where applicable.
  • Assist with Adventures In A Box (AIAB) for all expansion markets.  This includes, but is not limited to, program design, frequency, assembly, delivery, and overall execution.  This may include support from donors, volunteers, and others in helping fund, assemble and distribute AIAB.   
  • Assist with family growth in all designated expansion markets that do not have a full-time/part-time staff member.  Assist with volunteer recruitment and engagement in the same markets when applicable.
  • Travel to expansion markets, as needed, to meet with health care providers, hospital staff, potential volunteer groups, and others to share information about A Kid Again, recruit families and volunteers, and build brand awareness.
  • Assist with the collaboration with all key staff members to ensure family enrollment, brand awareness, and volunteer engagement in expansion markets. Introduce potential funders to the appropriate staff members to pursue.  
  • Assist with identification and plan of mini-adventures. 



  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred.  
  • Experience in the non-profit sector is preferred. 
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with experience working in a database. 
  • Requires good communication, relationship building, and organizational skills.
