Graphic Design Internship

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

POSITION SUMMARY:

A Kid Again fosters hope, happiness and healing for families raising kids with life-threatening conditions. We provide year ’round fun-filled activities for the entire family alongside other families a similar situation. We call these Adventures and they occur multiple times a year and are at no cost to the families.

We are seeking a part-time Graphic Design intern who will assist with our graphic design efforts. You will learn about A Kid Again, a nonprofit with a 26-year history, and help us create collateral as a productive part of overall marketing efforts.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creating collateral for campaigns
  • Create and upload designs into Canva
  • Report findings to the team
  • Consistently learn and grow, ask pertinent questions

*Please note: this is a tentative outline of possible projects and duties and additional duties may be assigned later.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator)
  • Familiarity with Canva
  • Advanced grammar, spelling and general communication skills
  • Interest in graphic design for nonprofit marketing
