Fundraising Events Coordinator

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position supports all fundraising efforts for the National office of A Kid Again.  The individual leads logistical support for national fundraising events, assists in donor stewardship and coordinates online giving campaigns.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. FUNDRAISING EVENT SUPPORT. Working with leadership of multiple events, plan budgets, assist with auction item acquisition, coordinate catering, audio-visual and communications, and lead or support day-of execution. Some travel and evenings/weekends will be necessary. Current events include a national gala (Time Out), a run series at multiple theme parks, bourbon tastings and in-home mixers.

 

  1. MANAGE ONLINE DONATION PAGE SET-UP. In coordination with national and chapter staff, serve as the point-person in setting up all online donation pages for the organization.  Current systems used include Classy and Givergy.

 

  1. SUPPORT THIRD-PARTY FUNDRAISERS/EVENTS. In coordination with national development staff, work with outside groups to support their fundraising efforts where A Kid Again is the beneficiary. This includes providing resources, regular communication and recognition.

 

  1. DONOR STEWARDSHIP. Work with the national development team to ensure proper notes are maintained on donor profiles and that stewardship plans are followed. Position will be responsible for maintaining and coordinating sponsor benefits across the organization.

 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree with 2-3 years of experience in nonprofit administration and/or fundraising necessary. Must also have successful career experiences in relationships management, communications, planning and time management.  Experience in Blackbaud products and donation platforms preferred.

 SALARY RANGE: $40,000-$50,000 + Benefits
