Donor Services Assistant

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

JOB SUMMARY:

The Donor Services Assistant is responsible for the management of fundraising event logistics, gift processing and stewardship implementation of national donors.  This individual also assists the national development team with donor record management, meeting scheduling and travel arrangements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports the national development team with logistical support of fundraising and donor stewardship events. This includes negotiating contracts, working with venues and caterers, communicating with sponsors and providing timely reports.
  • Responsible for all pledge entry and billing related to annual giving campaigns and special events for national office. All must be coordinated in a timely fashion as outlined in donor stewardship.
  • Coordinate all donor acknowledgements and special recognitions. All must be coordinated in a timely fashion as outlined in donor stewardship.
  • Assist the national development team in scheduling meetings, tracking expenses, and other duties as assigned.

 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree with professional experience working in a non-profit, preferably a fundraising department.
  • Successful career experiences working in computer systems requiring strong attention to detail. Raiser’s Edge/NXT experience
  • Project management experience and working with high level business professionals necessary.

 SALARY RANGE: $37,000-$45,000 + Benefits
